The SAM system has been developed in order to provide better management of patients undergoing surgery, as well as to help manage stress derived from the intervention. The system allows both professionals and patients and caregivers to have better care during the surgical process. Surgical process is understood to be the entire period from when the patient is informed that he must undergo a surgical intervention until he is discharged from the clinic.
This tool is intended only for patients of legal age with sufficient technological capabilities (able to move normally in digital environments and with access to a computer) and non-dependent, and for minor patients with the consent of their legal guardians. In the case of the Web, it is intended exclusively for health professionals, since through the records of the App professionals can adjust the monitoring in a personalized way.
Information obtained through SAM should not and cannot be the basis for the diagnosis of any medical therapy or treatment.
The system modules have been validated by qualified professionals and are intended to help the patients understand their illness / surgery and provide them with better medical care.
